Princess Zelda was captured by Ganon, but the swordsman Link stormed in to rescue her. After a fierce battle, Link appeared to defeat the villain but was suddenly dragged down into a mysterious rift in the ground and disappeared.
These rifts are appearing across the land, swallowing up others, including the King of Hyrule and his advisors.
Left alone, it's now up to Princess Zelda to save her kingdom as she explores its vast regions, solves puzzles, and defeats foes in a brand-new adventure in the Legend of Zelda™️ series!
Team up with the ethereal creature, Tri, and use the powerful Tri Rod to create “echoes”—imitations of things you will find in the world—to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.
Use echoes like water blocks to reach new heights, make bridges out of old beds, throw rocks at foes—or find your own creative combination of echoes to do things your way. Just press [ZR] to learn an echo, then press [Y] to make one. You can then press [ZR] again to erase it or hold down [ZR] to erase all echoes you’ve made on the field. Easy!
You can even make echoes of monsters to fight at your side and give those baddies a taste of their own medicine!
Learn about awesome powers and helpful items that Zelda can use to overcome obstacles and get out of jams in creative (and sometimes unpredictable) ways.
When Zelda finds a mysterious sword, she uses it to transform into the powerful swordfighter form for a short time. With its mighty power, she can slash through barriers and strike down enemies. This ability doesn’t last forever and must be replenished by collecting energy in the mysterious Still World, so use it wisely.
Use Bind to make objects follow Zelda’s movement. Use Reverse Bond to make Zelda follow an object’s movement. Both of these abilities can also be used on monsters—try them out to reach new heights!
Visit a Smoothie Shop to blend your ingredients into tasty drinks! Smoothies can replenish your hearts and grant temporary bonuses like increased swim speed or resistance to electricity.
Try on different outfits and accessories for different effects like finding more hearts in the wild, being able to jump higher, or other surprising abilities.
Travel throughout the kingdom with Zelda.
To save the missing people, Zelda and Tri must venture into the rifts and travel to the strange Still World. There, they must use their combined powers to traverse broken terrain and dungeons with challenging bosses.
The Still World has massive dungeons full of mind-bending puzzles, fierce enemies, and towering bosses. Conquering these dark and dangerous dungeons will be the key to Zelda’s quest!
Make use of waypoints to travel quickly—or create a carrot echo to call upon a noble steed and take the scenic route!
Use any Legend of Zelda themed amiibo figures (including one from the Super Smash Bros.™ series and more) to unlock rewards in the game, like smoothie ingredients and certain outfits in alternate colors.
